Need a skip with extra capacity for larger clear-outs? A 12 yard skip gives you maximum volume for bulky, light waste such as furniture, packaging, timber, plastics and general clearance material. It’s ideal for:
✔️ Shop refits and commercial premises clearances
✔️ Large home renovations or loft clear-outs
✔️ Office furniture and packaging disposal
✔️ Retail, hospitality, and warehouse waste
✔️ Bulky, light construction debris (e.g. wood, plaster, insulation)
If you’re removing heavy rubble or soil only? The 8 yard builders skip is the safer and cheaper option.
“Skip hire prices vary depending on several factors: Location, Rental Duration, Skip Size, Waste Type, Permits and Licenses, Delivery and Collection.”
Important:
Our recent 90-day booking data shows the skip hire cost range between £390 and £455. Prices vary based on your location and the type of waste you’re disposing of. For an accurate, all-inclusive quote, use our online booking system — it only takes a minute and gives you the best price for your area.
Our standard hire period is 14 days, giving you plenty of time to fill your skip at your own pace. Need more time? No problem, you can easily extend your hire for just £30 per extra day.
A 12 yard skip is tall and takes space. Roughly 3m of clear width at the entrance, and make sure there are no low cables, tree branches, signs or arches blocking the overhead lift. For tight residential access, tell us before booking so we can confirm it can actually be placed.
Best for:
If you’re emptying a property fast, a 12 yard skip is usually the most efficient way to do it.
Do not throw in:
Mattresses, upholstered seating and certain specialist waste streams may have extra charges. Ask first so you’re not billed later.
A permit is legally required if you plan to place a skip on a public road, pavement, or council-owned land. As part of our service, we can handle the permit application for you.
When booking, simply select where you’d like the skip placed. The fee will be automatically added if a permit is needed.
Permit Fees:
A 7-day permit ranges from £30 to £50, while a 14-day permit costs around £95 or more.
