Same-day and next-day delivery of 4–8 yard green waste skips for branches, hedge cuttings, soil and light landscaping waste.
Your Ideal Waste Removal Partner
Garden upgrades, whether big or small, often generate more waste than expected. With Skip Hire Team, you can book a garden skip online in just seconds (14-day hire included).
Need longer? Call our experts. Extensions are just £30 per extra day (please arrange before the hire ends).
As an EA-registered Upper Tier Waste Broker (CBDU596771), we partner with licensed local carriers across Kent, Medway, London and the South East who always deliver skips on time.
Access matters. Please tell us about low trees, narrow lanes, controlled parking zones or resident-only bays. We’ll plan the right vehicle and arrange bay suspension where required.
We’ll also send you loading rules by email (level loads only, cut branches to fit, soil kept to a safe amount) to avoid overweight or contamination charges. We prioritise recycling and recovery.
Green waste goes for composting or mulching. Usable soil is screened and reused, helping to reduce landfill waste.
Allowed (garden waste):
Not allowed:
Light outdoor items, such as small garden furniture, plant pots, and soft garden clutter, are usually fine.
DIY rubble, plasterboard, kitchen/bathroom rip-out waste, paint, and electrical waste are different waste streams and may require a different skip type. Check our guide for “what can and can’t go in a skip”.
Garden Skip Sizes
We supply skips from 4 yards up to 8 yards for domestic garden work. For heavy soil, hardcore or full landscaping clearance, we can also arrange grab hire or larger RoRo containers. (This can be cheaper and safer than trying to pack heavy waste into an 8 yard builders skip.) Ask us if you’re unsure.

Tip: Do not place Japanese knotweed in any skip. It is a controlled invasive plant. If moved off-site, it must be handled by a registered waste carrier and disposed of at a suitably permitted facility.
No permit is required if you place a skip on private land or a driveway. However, if you need to place the skip on a public road, pavement, or grass verge due to limited space, a local council skip permit is required.
No worries, our team will handle all your permit paperwork. It usually takes 3 to 5 business days, and permit prices are set by local councils, typically ranging between £55 and £95 for periods of 7 to 14 days. So book early if the skip must go on the street.

No, garden waste skips are for green waste only. Please avoid mixing other types, as this may incur penalties.
Usually yes. Green-only loads are simpler to process because they can be composted instead of going through mixed waste treatment.
Small amounts are fine. Large volumes are heavy and may exceed safe lift limits. Ask us for the best size or a split solution.
Absolutely. Same-day skip delivery is often available, especially if you book early in the morning before 10 am. We’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.
