Choose Skip Hire Team For Reliable Skip Hire Services in London

At London Skip Hire Team, we help to book affordable skips online across zones 1–6 and the wider M25, including hire period, delivery, and one collection. Flexible hire periods with extensions available on request

As an EA-registered Upper Tier Waste Broker (CBDU596771), our experts will match the job to a nearby licensed operator who is available for your requested window and advise on any local constraints (bay suspensions, narrow streets, school streets, market days).

Placing a skip over private land (driveway or site), a licence is usually not required. For on-street placements, we assist with securing skip permits from your local London Borough Council and can even arrange bay suspensions or CPZ (Controlled Parking Zone) access for your skip placement.

Waste is taken to licensed London transfer stations such as Powerday, Old Oak Sidings, NW10 and Bywaters, Lea Riverside, E3; typical high diversion from landfill via MRF processing.

Delivery & Collection

  • Lead times: Same-day/next-day in many London postcodes when stock allows. (For same-day, place your order before 10 am or early morning)
  • Standard hire: Up to 14 days (extensions available).
  • Early collection: Request via call or book a collection online, typical London pick-ups within 24–48 hours once off-hired.

  • Driveway/off-road minimums: approx. 2.7 m width, 4.0–5.0 m length for 6–8 yd; allow turning room for the lorry.
  • On-street clearance: allow ~6 m length including approach; avoid junctions, crossings, bus stops and cycle lanes.
  • Low bridges/narrow streets: Some inner-London streets have width restrictions or timed closures; if a fixed placement isn’t feasible, choose wait-and-load (20–30 mins) to avoid permits and CPZ conflicts.
